Our local Audubon Center had a very special Halloween festival and not only was it fun, it was educational. The kids dressed up in their costumes (Lil’C had to settle for Cinderella since her costume is not finished yet) and we were escorted through four stations on our tour. The stations involved a play, a fun powerpoint, square dancing with a Blue Grass Band and roasting marshmallows by the campfire. The highlight for me was that Z and I got to dance together, something we have never done.
Once the tour was over they had games, crafts and refreshments set up for the kids. It was a wonderful family event and one that I am sure we will do again.
