Summer is a time to kick back, relax and enjoy a good book! I have a pile of books waiting for me and my beach chair to enjoy this summer. Do you need a book suggestion for you? Modern Mrs. Darcy always puts out a great summer list, check it out here.
But what about the kids?? Last year the kids and I participated in our Library’s Summer Reading program. The library has so many fun activities and rewards for the reading we already do. Last year we set a goal to read all of the books on the Reading Rockets Summer Book List and we read all that we could find in the library. Unfortunately Reading Rockets is not putting out a list this year but they have their past lists on their website for you too look through. Check them out here.
Reading Rockets also has Themed Book Lists. These are great if you are going to focus on a theme this summer and need a good book to go along with it. These lists are a amazing, go check them out here.
